Recently looked at a new NH 1920 which was equipped with a Great Bend loader rather than the standard NH 7308. Salesman claimed it was a much more heavy duty loader with double the lift capacity, better hydraulics, lift etc. than the 7308. I'm not at all familiar with this unit - can anyone shed some light on whether the claims are true? Should I be paying more for it than the 7308, and if so, how much? Finally, any way to contact Great Bend? Haven't been able to find an address, phone # or web site for them.Thanks.

We have a Great Bend loader on a JD 4040. I do not like it as much as the JD loaders we have on our other tractors. The Great Bend seems awkward and unresponsive. I also feel that the tractor would have better resale value with a JD loader on it. I wouldn't pay as much, and certainly not more for aGreat Bend. ....
